It’s time to start thinking seriously about ideas and ambitions for 2016, building on the successes so far.
The society’s AGM is coming up on February 21st. Like last year, it will be a Sunday afternoon event in the Stromness Community Centre on Church Road from 3–5pm.
In addition to the standard business of the AGM – including nominations and election of trustees – the plan is to get as many views as possible about what priorities members want to tackle next. Planting for wildlife? Raised beds? Make the pond more accessible? Make a fire pit? Water, walls, wind shelters? Plus whatever you’d like to suggest.
For inspiration, we’ll be hearing from Caroline Beaton of the charity Trellis that encourages gardening for all.
Everybody is welcome!
