Quick post to say that there’s a work day at the Brownstown Road site on Sunday May 1st. The weather forecast suggests it’ll improve late morning, so folk will be there from 11am to tackle some jobs indoors and out.
If you are the first to arrive, you might like to check the to-do list on the white board inside the polytunnel.
UPDATE: Mary and Ian split up and replanted the gifted gooseberry bush (that had been in polytunnel) in three spots near the shed and main path. The shock may mean no fruit this year, but if any of them establish enough to last the winter, they will provide some free foraging in years to come.
Next work days will be on Sundays May 15th and 29th.
